EPS Partners with National Community Services (NCS)
It is a legal requirement that all Carers have formal qualifications to work in direct care or funded residential care home.
EPS has partnered with National Community Services whom work directly with prestiges and accredited Colleges throughout Victoria and whom provide nationally recognised courses. Through our partnership, EPS is able to offer our candidates the opportunity to obtain the required qualifications specific to working in the Community Services sector.
The following courses are available to EPS candidates:
Diploma of Community Services
Mandatory Units of Competency (Top Up units), being;
CHCMHS007 - Working effectively in trauma informed care
CHCPRT009 - Provide primary residential care
CHCCCS009 - Facilitate responsible behaviour
NCS associated colleges are Vic Gov't funded, which means candidates maybe eligible for full or partial funding to complete your nominated qualification. Funding is subject to eligibility criteria.
In addition, EPS also offers financial assistance to successful applicants by arrangement.
Before we place our people in the field, all our Carers undergo a thorough and rigorous internal “Training & Assessment" (T&A) program.
Purpose of the T&A program is to help us assess and evaluate suitability and the worker capabilities, so we can provide candidates with the necessary guidance, tools, skills and understanding of their regulatory obligations and client expectations as a quality Carer.
The T&A is facilitated by an experienced and current Residential Care & Youth Justice trained Worker.
