Essential Personnel Services

At Essential Personnel Services (EPS), our purpose is too, "Give Hope", "Give a Chance" and "Make a Real Difference" in the lives of people in our care. To help us achieve this, we have partnered with like minded people and organisations to create services specifically designed to help our young people excel and to be their best selves.

In addition, EPS is also privileged to be able to support a number of Community based organisations, whose primary purpose is to provide services and support for the betterment and well-being of our Communities, Families and Youth.       

HYPE:
​Helping Young
​People Excel

One of the many challenges facing our young people today is getting an opportunity or be given a chance (even a second chance). HYPE is about doing exactly that.

The core mission for HYPE is to;
  • Find fulfilling employment
  • Provide foundation educational pathways
  • Introduction to Cultural mentor/coach   

TU TANE Pasifika

TU TANE, which means “Stand as a Man”, is a strengths-based cultural program designed for Maori and Pasifika young offenders in detention utilising traditional and cultural Pacific Island Health models, being;
  • Te Whare Tapa Wha – Maori
  • Fonua – Tongan
  • Fonofale – Samoan
 
The four pillars of the health models are based on:
  1. Family/Community Health
  2. Spiritual/Cultural Health
  3. Physical/Personal Health
  4. Mental Health

Melbourne Tautoko Whanau (MTW)

In Maori, the word “Tautoko" means support and "Whanau” means family, so in short, MTW supports Melbourne families. 

MTW has a food pantry in Brooklyn Melbourne and provides food parcels and hygiene packs to families in need across the greater Melbourne Metro & Geelong Regions. 

EPS is privileged to have partnered with MTW in supporting families across Victoria.   

Women's Association South East Melbourne Australia (WASEMA) 

WASEMA provides networking meetings and opportunity for Women’s Groups to:
  • Come together and network
  • Address current issues affecting women’s groups in South East Melbourne

  • Building an inclusive society

  • Finding pathways for women to gain access to education, employment and business
  • Finding information, networks and agencies to provide assistance for women’s issues
